Apple has unveiled its new augmented reality headset, the Apple Vision Pro, which blends the real and virtual worlds. The headset is controlled by a combination of hand, eye and voice movements and allows users to access apps, watch movies and write documents in a virtual world.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission has filed a complaint against Coinbase, alleging that the crypto exchange traded unregistered securities and failed to register with the SEC. The lawsuit comes just one day after the SEC filed a similar complaint against Binance and its CEO, Changpeng Zhao.

Singapore's only racecourse, the Singapore Turf Club, will hold its final meeting next year after more than 180 years of horse racing history. The government will take back the 120-hectare site for public and private housing. Horse racing was introduced to Singapore in 1842 and proved popular.

Kathleen Folbigg, an Australian woman previously found guilty of causing the demise of her four infant children, has been freed from incarceration following an inquiry that supported new evidence casting "reasonable doubt" on her convictions. Children's lives were claimed by rare genetic abnormalities.

Heavy floods in Haiti have flooded over 13,600 homes, with residents taking refuge on rooftops as floodwaters rise. Hospitals have also been affected, with some having to clear out water. One woman has reported losing her five-year-old child.

Former sports minister Tracey Crouch is set to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise £100k for Cancer Kent. Crouch completed treatment for cancer in February 2021 and hopes to give back to the charity that supported her. The money raised will go towards purchasing a new radiography system.

Evacuations are underway in the Kherson region of Ukraine after a major dam in the area was badly damaged, causing flooding in at least 24 different settlements. Ukraine's military has accused Russian forces of blowing up the dam, but Moscow denies this.
